Owner-occupancy requirement
A rule requiring the property owner to live on-site (or on the same parcel) to operate a short-term rental.
Owner-occupancy rules are common for whole-home or accessory-unit rentals. They differ from primary-residence rules in that they focus on the owner living at the property, sometimes allowing rental of a separate unit on the same lot.
