Two forms exist: 'whole house' (entire single-family dwelling rented to one housekeeping unit for fewer than 30 days) and 'partial house' (a resident-occupied single-family dwelling renting up to 2 guest rooms for fewer than 30 days). Renting more than 2 bedrooms in a resident-occupied home may be treated as a bed and breakfast, which is zoning-dependent and requires a conditional use permit.
