A townwide cap limits permits to 10% of the Town's official inventory of detached single-family dwellings (inventory adopted each January); once reached, completed applications go on a waiting list in the order received. As of April 21, 2026 the cap had not been reached (148 openings). Neighbors within 300 feet receive notice of each approval, including the local contact's name and phone number.
